  • About 1 pound of spinach
  • 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 tablespoons whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. For the Crust:

  3. For the Tart:
  4. Cook the chard and spinach for a few minutes then chop.
  5. For the Bechamel Sauce: In a small pan, melt the butter and then add flour mixing constantly. Gradually add the milk and cook until it become think. Then add the parmesan cheese and mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Take out of the heat and add the spinach, chard, chopped hard boiled eggs and a little more salt if needed.
  7. Oil a medium size baking tart mold and place the dough. Make sure you have enough dough for the bottom of the tart and safe some to go on top once you put the filling.
