A fun meal for kids and adults to enjoy! Choose your favorite toppings and have delicious Crock Pot Chicken Tacos at home. Think of fresh vegetables and homemade beans for toppings and try to stay away from cans!
My family really enjoys eating tacos and my son gets excited about making his own with different toppings. Mexican recipes are always welcome at home! You can get a cool Tortilla Keeper to keep your tortillas warm. My favorite tortillas are La Tortilla Factory
Crock Pot Chicken Tacos
1 pound boneless/skinless chicken breasts
1 bottle of salsa (mild or non-spicy if serving to small kids) A good choice is Amy’s Organic Mild Salsa
Salt, pepper, paprika to taste
Tortillas (I like soft corn or whole wheat from La Tortilla Factory)
Toppings: beans, guacamole, lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, grated cheese, olives.
Put chicken, seasoning and salsa in crock pot. I use the Cuisinart Multi-Cooker in low for about 4 hours. The chicken can be shredded easily with a fork when done.
Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy a fantastic family meal together!
