These homemade mini brownies are simply the best! Moist and full of chocolate flavor, perfect treat for the entire family! These brownies are made with brown sugar and I personally think having some “real” sugar as an occasional treat is not bad! It is way better than buying a brownie at the supermarket full of preservatives and possibly high fructose corn syrup. This is why I make my treats at home and try to buy healthier ingredients like organic wheat flour, real butter, brown sugar and pasture raised eggs.
These brownies are so easy to make and they are really amazing! For other easy to make delicious homemade treats, you can try my Banana Almond Flour Muffins and Perfect Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies recipes.
I am constantly looking for the best ingredients in the products I buy. Reading labels is super important! The less ingredients the better. The products I recommend (highlighted in blue) are the ones I use at home. You can buy them online or at your local supermarket. Some healthy ingredients can be found only online or at health stores like Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s.
Homemade Mini Brownie’s
Ingredients:
1/2 cup King Arthur 100% Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 cup (4 oz) salted Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter (best real butter from grass fed cows)
3/4 cup brown sugar. I like Sugar In The Raw
2 lightly beaten eggs (organic)
5 tablespoon Cocoa Powder Unsweetened
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Mix butter (softened) with sugar first and form a cream, then add the lightly beaten eggs, then the rest of the ingredients little by little. Having a Hand Blender is very convenient! You can use any other mixer as well. Blend well. Add the chocolate chips at the end and mix.
Place the dough in a Silicone 24-Cup Mini Muffin Pan or any regular square pan like the Square Cake Panand bake at 375 for about 20 minutes. You need to spray some oil in the molds before you pour the brownie mixture. This will help get them out easily. I use Trader Joe’s Coconut Oil Non Stick Cooking Spray. You know your brownies are ready when you insert a knife and it comes out clean! Do not bake for a longer time or the brownies will come out dry.
Take out the brownies from the oven and let them cool down for about 5-10 minutes before removing from the molds or pan.
Yes, it is really simple, easy and DELICIOUS!
