Kids will love to help you make this healthy snack. You can let them choose their favorite nut butter and toppings like chocolate chips, granola, shredded coconut, or raisins. Make it a fun activity and enjoy your delicious apple sandwiches.
Ingredients:
You need apples,
Your favorite nut butter (peanut, almond or cashew)
Your favorite toppings (chocolate chips, oats, shredded coconut, granola or raisins)
Instructions:
No corer in the kitchen drawer? Slice the apples into rounds first then use a small cookie cutter to remove the core from the center of each slice.
You can also get an inexpensive Apple Corer.
