Salmon Bites are a great finger food! Great for toddlers, kids and adults too! Eating salmon brings lots of health benefits. It is one of the best foods for brain development. Making these bites is easy and healthy.
When can babies start eating fish? You can introduce fish to most babies as early as 6 months, says Frank Greer, a pediatrician and former chairman of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP) Committee on Nutrition. The advice to wait until babies turn one year old has changed.
In 2008, the AAP released a report stating that there’s probably no reason to wait to introduce allergenic foods until your baby reaches a certain age. “There is no evidence that delaying their introduction prevents food allergies,” says Greer.
If your baby has a strong family history of food allergies or asthma, Greer says it’s probably better to wait, but advises checking with your doctor first.
