Super Fun Healthy Teddy Bear Toasts
Remember that kids need to eat fresh fruit daily for their optimal development. This creative and healthy food idea is protein-packed as well. This is is such a perfect recipe for breakfast or a healthy snack.
What a fun way to serve breakfast. Make these super fun healthy teddy bear toasts for the entire family and make them smile. If you have a picky eater, this is an excellent way to introduce new healthy food choices. Ingredients For Super Fun Healthy Teddy Bear Toasts:
- Bread (Your favorite sliced bread works great)
- Banana cut in slices
- Blueberries
- Peanut Butter or any other nut butter
Instructions:
1.- Toast your favorite bread. At home we like multi-grain and whole wheat breads. A good healthy choice I like is the Alvarado Street Bakery Multi-Grain
2.- Spread some peanut butter (or any other nut butter) on each piece of toast. My choice of peanut butter is Justin’s Natural Classic Peanut Butter
3.- Top with banana slices for the ears and nose and blueberries for the eyes and top of the nose to make the teddy bear face.
