Now let me now tell you what is the secret ingredient. It is really one simple, fresh, healthy and delicious ingredient: Grated Carrot!
Yes, just a couple of small grated carrots added to the ground turkey and the miracle happens. Carrots will naturally give the ground turkey some moisture. Get your fresh ground turkey, add the secret ingredient, some salt and pepper to taste, and you are so ready to enjoy super juicy burgers.

If you have picky eaters at home, or someone who does not like carrots, you can tell them the shredded carrots are actually shredded cheese. Really, they will fall for it. Pretty clever idea for picky kids…..I think.

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 small/medium carrots (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a big bowl, mix the ground turkey with the grated carrots and add some salt and pepper. You can also add other spices like oregano, garlic, or onion powder. It is really up to you and your personal taste.
- Make little round burgers with your hands and place them on a baking sheet on top of parchment paper. You should add a little bit of olive oil to the parchment paper before (about 1 teaspoon).
